Workshop Location

The workshop will be held at the Caribe Hilton, Los Rosales Street, San Geronimo Grounds, San Juan, Puerto Rico 00901. Contact numbers for the Caribe are 787-721-0303 (phone) and 787-725-8849 (fax).

Welcome Reception, Sunday, June 6th

Please make sure you have arrived at the Caribe Hilton in plenty of time to get settled and locate the reception area (Salon Condado, 9 th floor, Main Building) by 5:30 pm. We will have an informal reception until 6:00 pm when we will be seated for a delicious dinner. After the dinner a short program will occur introducing you to the workshop organizers, giving you some additional information about the WAS*IS movement, and giving you a chance to introduce yourself to your fellow WAS*ISers. We are really looking forward to meeting all of you and starting off our wonderful week of the WAS*IS Caribbean workshop.

Hotel Internet

The Caribe Hilton does not provide free internet in your room. The charge for high speed internet is $14.95 per day and will be covered as part of your WAS*IS package. Please inform the front desk if you want to take advantage of internet in your guest room. Please know that free high speed internet is available in the common areas of the resort and in the meeting room during our workshop.

Tom's cell phone

If you have any problems getting here, finding where you need to go, or if you need anything else throughout the week, you can always call Tom's phone at 303-775-1199.

Dress Code

The dress code for the workshop is very casual and comfortable…after all, you'll be in Puerto Rico!! Feel free to wear jeans, shorts, capris, t-shirts, flip-flops, running shoes, etc.

What to Bring

Although we'll be busy from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm most of the days, you'll probably want to bring a swimsuit to enjoy the pool and the beach area at the Caribe Hilton. This is a wonderful resort with many amenities to enjoy during your free time. Our group dinners on Tuesday and Thursday evenings will be at other restaurants in the San Juan area. You'll want to dress appropriately for evening dinner.
